Frequently Asked Questions

What is Go?

Go is a free app that gives you savings only possible with iPhone.

How many iOS devices does Go work on?

Almost all of them. iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and now Apple Watch!

How do I save with Go?

You save on car insurance by paying less because of the unique capabilities of your iPhone. Today 7 out of 10 people pay more than they could because they're not using their iPhone to save. First of all, Go should help you see a little more of what's ahead. And while staying out of accidents saves you money...more importantly it just keeps you safe! When you give Go permission, it uses information like your location, how many miles you drive, and even if you're a student to give you auto insurers with the best care and best rates.

How much will I save?

The average driver saves $342. The exact amount you save depends on a lot of things, but some of the most important are your location, the make & model of your car, and your mileage. With Go you can get an estimated quote in less than 30 seconds.

Do I have to choose a new insurer?

Nope. You can use your current insurer and still save!

Which insurers can I use with Go?

Go works with major insurers like State Farm, Allstate, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, and others. We've be providing more partners and will continue to in 2015. Stay tuned!

Does Go use a lot of my battery?

Nope! It uses less than 1% even when you're diving a lot. We think this is one of the most important parts of Go. Go was designed to be battery-efficient. When you're not moving Go uses no power. When you are driving the amount of battery Go uses depends on your device. On iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus it uses the efficient design of M7 and M8 motion coprocessors to only use a very small amount of battery.

How do I get even more battery life?

There's a lot you can do! Having Wi-Fi on helps a lot because your iPhone can use Wi-Fi for figuring out location, which saves your battery from doing extra work. A few other tips include: use the latest iOS, adjust screen brightness, and turn off push notifications for apps you don't use.

Do I have to open Go every time I drive?

You don't! Go does a lot of work for you. When you drive Go figures your location, remembers your miles, reminds you if there is a new discount, and more. It does the work so you don't have to.

Does Go share information with my insurer?

It doesn't. You control all of your data. The only information you share is what you decide. Go is here to be a brand you can believe in for the long-term. So making sure everything is simple, clear, and what you want, is very important to us. To learn more, check out our Privacy Policy.

When can I get Go on Apple Watch?
